Remembering the Children: Bar/Bat Mitzvah Twinning

Twinning is an opportunity for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah to remember someone who was in the Holocaust. You will work with a Holocaust Center educator to find a twin that you feel connected to. You will be formally twinned via a certificate from the Holocaust Center. This experience will be incorporated into your Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony in a meaningful way. This could include your rabbi, a survivor, or local community leader presenting your certificate to you with a short explanation of what you have learned and why you chose your twin.
