Volunteering

We cannot do what we do without your support!  It takes many hands to make the Holocaust Center a success, which is why we are always looking for volunteers, interns, and donors to help us continue to grow.

While we are exceptionally grateful for your time, energy, and interest in supporting us, we hope that you will benefit as well – whether by gaining a greater understanding of Holocaust studies, getting a chance to share your experiences and knowledge with others, meeting other likeminded and interesting people, getting to know Holocaust survivors on a personal level, or just supporting a cause that you believe in.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with many different things, including:

• Speakers Bureau Volunteers are family members of survivors, who want to tell their family’s story and continue to share their family legacy with schools and other groups.
• Event Volunteers are also needed to help staff our events – either at the Holocaust Center or another local venue – to greet and check people in, assist with set up and/ or take down, and direct guests to where they need to be.
• We have a range of opportunities for student interns, including experiences in historical research, illustration, social media management, and more! Apply here.

In addition to a passion for our mission and subject matter, volunteers must have reliable transportation, and must be over 18 or have parental permission.
