
The Holocaust Education Patch Program is designed so that Girl Scouts and other participants can take part no matter where they are located! Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center is partnering with the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh to support troops and other groups working to earn the patch in Connecticut.
Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center offers the following opportunities that can be used to fulfill certain program components:
Connect Activities
Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts (and other participants grade nine through adult) must complete one Connect activity in addition to Connect cards. Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center offers the following opportunities to fulfill this requirement:
- You can plan a visit to the museum or schedule a docent-led group tour.
- You can arrange for a speaker to present to your troop or other group.
- You can explore Southern Arizona Holocaust Survivor Testimonies.
Take Action Activities
All participants must complete one Take Action activity. Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center offers the following opportunities to fulfill this requirement:
- Participants can arrange to volunteer at the Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center.
- You can organize for a speaker to present to a larger group (e.g. at school, to a public audience a local library, etc).
- Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center can help you create a public educational display.
