The Holocaust Education Patch Program is designed so that Girl Scouts and other participants can take part no matter where they are located! Holocaust Education Resource Council is partnering with the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh to support troops and other groups working to earn the patch in Florida.

Holocaust Education Resource Council offers the following opportunities that can be used to fulfill certain program components:

Connect Activities

Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts (and other participants grade nine through adult) must complete one Connect activity in addition to Connect cards. Holocaust Education Resource Council offers speakers that can come speak to your troop or other group to fulfill this requirement.

Take Action Activities

All participants must complete one Take Action activity. Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center offers the following opportunities to fulfill this requirement:

  • Participants can arrange to volunteer at the Holocaust Education Resource Council.
  • You can organize for a speaker to present to a larger group (e.g. at school, to a public audience a local library, etc).
  • Holocaust Education Resource Council can help you create a public educational display.
