James Lucot, the 2020 Holocaust Center Educator of the Year, is being honored for his many years of exceptional teaching of the Holocaust at Seneca Valley High School and Butler Community College.
Righteous Among the Neighbors is a project of the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh that honors non-Jewish Pittsburghers who support the Jewish community and take action to uproot antisemitism. James Lucot is an honoree in the class of 2024.
In partnership with the LIGHT Education Initiative and Mt. Lebanon High School, student journalists have once again interviewed honorees and wrote article-length profiles about their efforts. This year, the articles will each be published in the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle! Stay tuned to read the profile written on James Lucot.
