Lynne Ravas is being honored for her many years of exceptional teaching about the Holocaust, including decades of work as a public school educator and for leading Echoes and Reflections continuing education workshops, training teachers to teach about the Holocaust and antisemitism.
Righteous Among the Neighbors is a project of the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh that honors non-Jewish Pittsburghers who support the Jewish community and take action to uproot antisemitism. Lynne Ravas is an honoree in the class of 2024.
In partnership with the LIGHT Education Initiative and Mt. Lebanon High School, student journalists have once again interviewed honorees and wrote article-length profiles about their efforts. This year, the articles will each be published in the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle!
