Traveling Museum Exhibitions
Holocaust-themed Traveling Museum Exhibitions are available for educators to borrow and bring to their classrooms for 2 to 6 weeks. Seven exhibitions are printed on foam board one is on photo paper; all exhibitions present topics relating to the Holocaust (listed below). All content was produced by the HCP, unless otherwise noted (e.g., Yad Vashem). Stands are not included and delivery will be coordinated between HCP staff and the educator. Request an exhibit using the form at the bottom of this page. If you borrow an exhibit, we’ll ask you to please document the estimated number of people reached, either as student docents or as student / community viewers.

CHUTZ-POW! Superheroes of the Holocaust
This exhibit by features 29 small panels of several full CHUTZ-POW! stories, 7 medium panels about types of resistance, and 6 large panels (2’w X 4’h) explaining the exhibit. View the panels here.
Identity Badges in the Holocaust and 10 Stages of Genocide
This exhibit features the 10 stages of genocide and Nazi camp identity badges during the Holocaust on 2 large panels (4’ x 2’) or 2 medium panels (~12” x 24”). View the panels here.
For you were strangers: Jewish Immigration to Pittsburgh, 1880-1990
This exhibits explains the history of Jewish immigration to Pittsburgh in the context of the world wars on 15 large panels (2’ x 4’). View the panels here (The slides are not in order – the exhibit should be arranged in a logical, chronological order).
LGBTQIA+ in the Holocaust: Profile Cards
5 medium panels (~20” x 24”) each profiling an individual in the Europe who experienced Nazi persecution as a result of their LGBTQIA+ identity. View the panels here.
In Celebration of Life: Women in the Holocaust
Profile cards on 13 large panels (2’ x 4’) featuring the stories of 13 Pittsburgh-based Holocaust survivors. View the panels here.
Spots of Light: To Be a Woman in the Holocaust
This exhibit by Yad Vashem illustrates the experience of women in the Holocaust. The exhibit includes 21 large panels (2’ x 4’), many including question/discussion prompts. View the panels here.

Righteous Among the Nations
This art exhibit by Yad Vashem features 24 panels on photo paper profiling individuals who mustered extraordinary courage to uphold human values featurring the Holocaust, and to rescue hunted Jews with no expectation of remuneration. View the panels here.
