Christina Sahovey has worked at the Holocaust Center since March 2016, and has served in her role as the Operations Manager since April 2023. In her current position, she works on event and program planning, oversees many of our day-to-day financial and facilities/ operational needs, manages our speakers requests and organizational calendar, and handles myriad other “behind the scenes” aspects that make the Center function successfully overall! When Christina was growing up, her mother volunteered here at the Holocaust Center – and Christina considers herself extremely fortunate to have been able to have met several of the local survivors who have since passed away. Those early interactions inspired a lifelong interest in this topic for her. Christina received her BA in History from Chatham University in 2011, where she completed coursework in both the History of the Holocaust and in Modern European History. Outside of work, she practices yoga daily, and enjoys reading and crafting, as well as hiking, kayaking, and visiting breweries with her husband.
