From Pittsburgh to Poland: Lessons of the Holocaust

This film features three Pittsburgh Holocaust survivors on their journey back to Poland. It won four Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards as well as the 2006 National Gabriel Award for Outstanding News/Informational Documentary, winner of the regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding News Documentary, and the Western Pennsylvania Press Club’s Golden Quill Award for Outstanding Videography.

The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh connects the horrors of the Holocaust and antisemitism with injustices of today. Through education, the Holocaust Center seeks to address these injustices and empower individuals to build a more civil and humane society.

Offerings include: exhibits in our public gallery, an extensive library and archive, engaging cultural events, internationally renowned speakers, and free and affordable resources for teachers.

Our exhibit space at Chatham University has opened to the public! Tickets are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for three entry times: noon, 1:00, or 2:00.
