“Lest We Forget” Opening
Thursday, October 17, 4pm-6pm
Cathedral of Learning Lawn, University of Pittsburgh (4200 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15260)

Join us for the opening of Luigi Toscano’s latest iteration of Lest We Forget. This internationally renowned exhibit that has travelled from Berlin to New York City is coming to the University of Pittsburgh campus October 2019.

Lest We Forget is a series of outdoor exhibitions that present largescale portraits of Holocaust survivors that directly confront passers-by, forcing viewers to confront the past, both to ensure that history will never repeat itself, and to raise awareness of the hatred and bigotry present in society today. Lest We Forget has been displayed in high-profile locations around the world, including at the headquarters of the United Nations and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. This newest iteration will feature never-before-seen portraits of Pittsburgh-area survivors.

Registration coming soon.
